Dinsmore: Ghosts, Nannies, and Geniuses
Wow, welcome back after a looonngg break! I have quite a few updates almost ready for you! It's been such a long time since I played this house, so bear with me as some of the details are a little fuzzy. Here's my favorite sim: Sara Dinsmore!!
Hi there! Thanks for the introduction Queenie! Life couldn't be more amazing right now.
My little angel sure has a set of lungs!! Matthias had been such a quiet babe that it was hard to adjust to Lark's demanding attitude.
Me and Corbin were so glad to get out of the diaper stage!
It was at this time that we decided to remodel the house. We had been saving up for a loonngg time. I love our new home.
Turns out Lark is just as smart as her older brother! It is rather sad to admit that they are smarter than I am!!
Matthias and Lark get along great! I was worried for a while, he seemed to dislike the attention we were giving Lark. They did have one major arguement though..
See, Mom's ghost enjoys haunting. She has scared poor Matthias a few times.
Matthias was telling Lark about this, but she stated that their were no such things as ghosts.
This ticked him off, he was positive there were! As the shouting began I decided to step in, but it turned out I didn't need to.
Mom settled the matter.
Lark most definately believes in ghosts now. She apologized too. They are so cute together!!
What have I been up to, you ask? Well, last week I became a Space Pirate (my second time getting to the top of a career). 
This week I got a new job. I look pretty hot in this uniform!
I have been spending more time with my kids too. I love teaching Lark how to be a tough, but sexy woman.
And my little Matthias grew up! Here's my Matty on his first day of work! 
He's been spending tonnes of time skilling for college, but he has had time for other things as well...
Like Meredith Stanhope. 
Matthias says he loves her. Corbin is sceptical, but I don't really mind. He's just a kid, who has plenty of time to make up his mind.
Hehe. That girl is a real winner in my books!
Winter hit hard this week. We got all snowed in!
Oh yeah, Corbin's been writing a novel! And get this... the heroine is me!
It was a best seller! Me and the kids are so proud.
*sigh* Corbin still hasn't given up his dream. He wants both our kids to be major athletes. 
Turns out she was! We were feasting for a while.
Look at that cake! She was one of the best nannys ever.
But, I had to fire her. She got into an arguement with Matthias (note: it involved shoving and poking!!) then she started swooning over my husband. She was gone.
And we were back to my terrible cooking! 
My kids are such dears! They ate all of their pancakes! Unfortunately Lark wants a new family member. No siree! I love my kids, but another baby is just too much! I'll be happy with some grandkids some day.
I also started drinking some elixer. See, I want to spend more time with my kids. Corbin agreed that this was a good plan.
It's weird to think that Will is going to come home soon!! He does inherit the hose, afterall.

Harper: Die Hard
Told from Mariella's point of view for 7 days.
(imagine a French accent, I did my best, but it is hard as the French cannot pronounce the letter H. Anyway, hope you can still read it...)
Hola! Welcome to my beautiful 'ome. Eet is my job to explain the 'appenings of the week. First thing that 'appened, was I got married. 'ere is my beautiful wedding dress.
I got my 'air all done up too. Matt loves it. 'E calls me "'Is Roman/Greek Goddess". That is the theme of our 'ouse, but more about that later.
Yes, I 'ad gotten married. Matt 'as built me a beautiful 'ome. As I am Spanish and French, we were going to build a lovely Spanish 'ome for me. But, Matt said 'e would prefer a Roman theme. You see, the Romans were very powerful. I agreed.
Matt is a very 'andsome 'usband. 
'E is very good to me. 'E often cooks me Italian dinners, like Spaghetti. 'E is Italian. Our children will be quite the mix!!
I, of course, am a duitiful wife. Everynight I wait for Matt to come 'ome so I can give 'im the pleasure 'e deserves. 
Matt is a Scientist. 'Ee loves his job. I do love him but...
... 'ow do they say? Oh yes, "Old 'abits die 'ard". 
I was very lonely when my Matt was working. I 'ad not yet found a job. Matt does not want me to. I am supposed to be a "house-wife". 'E 'as agreed to let me pursue a Slacker career. I 'ad yet to find it though.
Anyway, things were rather awkward. I felt guilty woohooing with other men in my 'usband's bed. But one day Matt surprised me. 'E built me a beautiful spa. 
It was very conveinent.
One day, I got good news. I was pregnant! Most romancing sims 'ate babies. Not I. Eet is my duty to bear children for my 'usband. Just as eet was my mother's duty and just as eet will be my daughters' duties. Besides, I knew this was Matt's baby. I am very careful when sleeping with other men.
Being pregnant was not fun. I was always bored and rather grumpy. 
Matt took some time off work though. 'E was anxious after one day I almost overheated. 'E is very protective.
But the one night I went into labour, he was not home. 'E was needed desperately at work. 'E thought I would be OK. I was not.
Eet was all worth eet though. Meet my son, Vitas Harper. 
Being a mother is hard, but rewarding work.
Eet became more difficult when I found out I was pregnant again. 'Ow was I to raise a baby when I was so full of 'ormones??
We celebrated Vitas' birthday simply.
'E is a very handsome boy, no?
The best thing about Vitas is that 'e keeps me busy. I have no time for romancing, feeling guilty, or feeling bored. Life is good, but sometimes frustrating.

Stanhope: Maturing
Welcome to Week 4!! I have actually almost played through the whole week in the hood, so be prepared for a lot of updates!
Told from Timothy's point of view for 7 days:
Hi there! Not much happened this week. Things have been pretty quiet since Wesley left for college. He's my step-nephew, but I kind of consider him to be my brother. Anyway, he left, taking the drama with him.
Dear old Lucie is now actually old.
She lazes about more than usual now, but she is still just as smart as ever.
One night, there was a storm and lightning hit a tree. Luce was the only one who noticed. She woke us up, but we weren't needed. Thankfully it went out on its own.
My oldest brother, Robert, spends lots of time with Mer. Being the only girl among us boys has been pretty tough for Meredith. I think that she often feels left behind, as she is the youngest.
See, Harrison and I had our birthdays as well. Here I am.
And here's Harrison.
Last week we moved into a brand new house. That ticked Wesley off, but whatever. Unfortunately, things have been breaking down right left and center around here. Maybe it's Mom's fault? She has been releasing a LOT of negative energy around here.
It probably doesn't help that she had 4 teens in the house. Yep, Mer grew up too.
She is ALL about the boys. That will be rough for her. With 3 (4, if you count Wesley) older brothers, romance will be the hardest thing to achieve for her. What can I say? Us Stanhope boys are a little bit protective.
And why wouldn't we be? Meredith spends hours working out, doing her make-up, shopping and that stuff to impress the boys.
She seems to also be hanging out with Mariella Delrosia. That just spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Especially if Mom or Wesley finds out.
Even my dear old twin has some romance bones in him. (editor: Sophie sure does give a lot of my prosperity boys their first kisses! I wonder if she will ever actually go to college with one of them...)
Most of the time we just study. Mom likes it that way. Also, Robert, Harrison and I were preparing for college. All of us will be going next semester. Poor Mer will be left behind again...

Troy Young doesn't really care that his half-sister is about to be pelted with a water balloon.
Paisley Young decided to randomly steal the Stanhope's newspaper. If you hadn't noticed this week was REALLY rainy. I think it rained every day.

University Week 3, Letters Home
Dear Mama,
Hello from college!! I got here safely obviously, and time sure has gone by quickly. You should have seen what I arrived at school in!!
I got my hair done right away, but I had to wait before I could go shopping because I wanted to get into La Maison Rouge.
Ally is just as crazy as ever. I know that doesn't make you feel better, but its the truth. I promise to tell the whole truth, OK?
Mariella seems to still be a love-struck skank (Ally's word, not mine). She started pining over Wesley Stanhope. He is in some classes with me sometimes. Andrew seems to have gotten over her though.
That Matt Harper is kind of creepy. He is nice, but he seems to be very moody.
Well, all Mariella and I really ever talked about was her plans of moving out. She was so exited. So was I (though I didn't tell her).
And Mama, as I said I would be truthful, I will. I kind of dated Wesley for a while. I know you probably don't want to hear that. Anyway, he is very good looking.
Then I saw him kissing Ally. I wasn't really mad. We broke up, sometimes I think I might still have feelings for him though.
Then Mariella and Matt moved out! It was kind of shocking as my sisters kept telling me about their "big fight" last year. They moved in together in a dorm. 
I went shopping for something more my style. It is a lot better than those other clothes!

and I all got into the Secret Society. I'm not supposed to tell you, but as a major teacher you probably know all about it anyway, right?
Oh, Ellie proposed to "her" professor, as we all refer to him. He is really sweet.
She wasn't the first to "get hitched". Turns out Andrew had been secretly engaged all along! They kiss all over the place.
But, Andrew is so happy. His fiance is really pretty too. Her name is Debbie Baer. 
It's too bad you have only met Ellie's professor. I think you would like Debbie and Connor. Yeah, I guess I should tell you about Connor now.
He is my extremely handsome boyfriend. He had ugly, long hair, before I fixed him up! We have a lot in common. He moved into the Greek House here. We go on a lot of dates as we both want 50 dream ones! 
He got into the SS too. Don't worry we keep up with our studies.
Other things too. Between dates we work out together. I don't know if he is the right guy for me, but being with him is a convenient and relaxing relationship. I enjoy it right now.
Then everyone graduated. You were at the party, so you already know all that. 
I will miss them.
Everything's so quiet right now, just me and Connor. I suppose that will change when the next batch from home arrives!!

OK, sorry about that. You just have to understand how important this is to me. First things first, the basics. As soon as I got here I registered with the nearest Greek Club. You get all sorts of benefits. Also, you tend to get friends for life, or so they say.
First person I saw was Ally Walsh. I hadn't seen her for forever! She was exited to see me too.

Then there's Lyra Walsh, Ally's little sister. Neither I, nor Wesley (my roomie) could keep our eyes off of her.
I am one of the smarter ones down here, believe it or not. Matt Harper and I had quite a few discussions. He was kind of helpful when I was settling in.
Mariella always walked around in a skimpy bikini. Her and Matt moved out of the Greek house. We had all been staying there for a while, but Wesley and I decided to move into a dorm too.
Now for the more serious stuff, I guess. As you are a really hot girl mom (I do admire that) I hope you can give me some advice.

We got pretty serious. One night, when she was over at the dorms, everything was great. Until I said I looked forward to being by her side forever, after I graduated.

He is a "ladies man". You should see all the crap he gets from his dates. He said he plans on making a shrine with all the stuff he as been given once he gets home. I swear he's crazy.
He's also an arrogant ass. You should see the way he walks around, like he owns the planet or something. He is rather smart though. He says professors are easy targets. Easily seduced he means. So, he goes to class, comes home and switches classes then goes to the next one. Basically, he stays long enough to meet some professors before moving on. I wonder if he has any plans involving actually studying...
Not everybody loves him though! Someone knocked over our trash can. It left quite a mess though.
Wesley didn't feel like such a hot shot when I made him spray the cockroaches that resulted from the tipped can.
Oh, I got into the Secret Society! I can't say anymore though...
Wesley did too. It was really funny to watch his initiation ceremony. He was really pissed at that guy!
Another weird event...
one night, I came home from class and Tanzie was waiting all seductively for me. What is up with her??? One day she leaves me standing outside, the next day she nearly jumps me! I wish this college offered some female interpretation classes.

Walsh: Lost in the Shuffle

Welcome back! Ready to watch this stress-filled update??? If you remember, we left the 10 members of this household getting prepared for a fun-filled week. There's Curtis and Caroline (the parents), Lyra (Caroline's daughter, Curtis' step-daughter who is a teen), Daphne (the twin of Paisley, who, due to a glitch, grew into a child before her twin), Paisley (still a toddler), Astra (alien child of Curtis, twin of Comet, baby), Comet (alien, baby), Tory (twin of Trey, baby), Trey (baby), and Dolly (cat). Yep, that's a houseful!!
I'm telling the story this week as everyone else is at school or work. Told from my point of view for 7 days.
Great start! A nanny, left in charge of 1 toddler and 5 babies. She also can't tell that Comet's stinking it up a bit.
Sorry guys, but I missed a great pic. I was so exited I just kind of forgot... anyway, Paisley climbed out of her crib as the mentally retarded nanny wouldn't get her out (she sat there bawling for like 2 sim hours, then I noticed when was nearly on the ground! By the time I took the pic she was standing like this).
Caroline has been working hard and getting A LOT of promotions. It seems as though all her uniforms clash with her hair though.
Caroline gave Daphne a little extra attention before things got too hectic. No doubt Daphne would get lost in the shuffle... its gotta be hard having 3 siblings and 6 half-siblings.
And the chaos re-begins...
Poor Astra. She has some "unique" facial features. That's why I rarely want alien children. I can't stand their messed up noses and eyes. I missed Comet's toddler pic, but he also looks odd. His upper face is normal, but his lower face is really skinny.
And then Paisley finally grows up to join her twin in childhood.
See what I mean about chaos??? Comet was being a total brat and refused to pee in the potty.
Apparently it has something to do with being an alien. Caroline almost lost her "experienced motherhood cool" when Astra wouldn't pee in the potty.
More birthdays?? I don't think these parents can deal with anymore "terrible twos". 
Troy is the cutest of the "2nd generation" (Caroline and/or Curtis' ) kids. I think it is because he didn't inherit Curtis' nose.
Trey is adorable, even with his smushed nose.
Then, amid the gathering chaos, Lyra slipped away to college. Thanks for the support Lyra! Ah well, as Lyra is the heir (ess) she will have to return to the insanity eventually.
Look at all those skilling toddlers!! J'adore smart milk!
Curtis was definitely the primary care-giver during the toddler years. But, when it came to diapers, he would seemingly disappear.

Dinsmores: Extreme Attraction

Mom had been pretty much painting and writing a novel since we moved here. She had just sold the novel (for a pretty penny, I might add), when...
Grimm showed up! Literally moments after she got off the phone.
She died very happy, I believe. She always loved money...
It's kind of odd, but sometimes I get this feeling that she's watching me. I know lots of people see ghosts, but most of the time it's at night. She seems to come out for visits prominently during the day.
Oh, my job has forced me to wear some hideous get ups! I look like some sort of fire fighter!
But, there were also some not so bad uniforms...
Like this little outfit here. I'm totally thinking of wearing it more often.
Corbin found it irresistible. 
Speaking of irresistible outfits... Corbin made it to the top of his career (he's perma-plat too now). Don't you think his outfit is the definition of sexy? We make the perfect couple...
Speaking of extreme attraction... Will found a girlfriend. A rather homely girl named Tosha Go. An odd name too.
Oh yeah, Matthias did grow up. And no, I am NOT fat in this picture!!
He's a cutie... you're still wondering about the extra weight!!! 
Truth is, I was pregnant again. Not too happy about it either (*glares at the editor (note: it was totally not my fault, her and Corbin couldn't keep their hands off each other) *) 
Matthias does seem to have some anger management issues (he only has 1 nice point). Maybe he didn't like the thought of having a sibling? Anyway, I recommended that he spent an hour a day with my punching bag. It has worked wonders.
Corbin helps Matthias with the "hard" learning things, like creating medication (Matthias is a wiz kid who has almost maxed all of his skills already).
I help him with the easy stuff, homework. I didn't do too well in school (to my mother's disappointment), but that elementary stuff is pretty basic. I think Matthias only asks me for help to make me feel like I am helpful. He could probably skip a few grades of school if he wanted to.
Oh yeah, Will was a great help around here. He is an amazing chef. Don't those omelettes look scrumptious (I craved them A LOT during my pregnancy).
Well, eventually I had to go into labor (not a fun process) and I had a girl this time! Meet Lark Dinsmore. Will and Corbin were ecstatic, but Matthias was not. He has warmed up to her considerably though.
We redecorated the nursery for her too. It is so adorable now (ballet themed, Corbin wants both of his children to be athletes like me).
After Lark was born, Will said it was time for him to go to college. It is so odd seeing my son grow up, I still feel so young.
He is quite a looker from what I hear. He takes after his mother!

Mom still is part of the action around here. She got very exited when she noticed we kept her bed. (we did change the sheets, no son of mine will be sleeping in a dead lady's bedding. That is too creepy).
